     See that school in the morning
          Along about 9:00 a.m.
     The kids are grabbing their notebooks
          And the busses are pulling in.
     They're rushing into the classroom
          Hear that tardy bell ring.
     Echoing through the hallway
          Where Turner is lingering.

     Oh, we ain't got a barrel of knowledge
          Some are ready for college
     Bur we'd like to say Uncle Sam's in the way
          for awhile.
     Oh, the faculty couldn't be meaner
          If you're a freshman or senior,
     But we've made it through

          What if the grades should fall.
